If you have problems with your email on your iPhone AND you use Outlook then the best thing to do is access your email via Safari.
What type of error? Well, for example you may suffer from the error:
How-to access your outlook.com email via a web browser
1. Open Safari
2. Type in outlook.live.com
3. Provide your email address and password when requested
4. If you’re on your iPhone, you may get a warning saying you need to upgrade your browser to a newer version of Safari. Ignore this and tap on Continue.
5. You will now be able to use your email account via Safari.
If you want to access your outlook.com email this way you can safely remove your hotmail or outlook.com email account from your iPhone. Don’t worry, this will not remove any data from your email account — it will simply remove it from your iPhone or iPad.
